The Pocket Water Quality Tester detects residual chlorine, total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and ozone, providing an affordable, portable electrochemical test.The oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) is a very important water quality indicator.While it cannot independently reflect water quality, it can be used in conjunction with other water quality indicators to reflect the ecological environment of aquatic systems.
1.Industrial Wastewater Treatment: Used in water treatment for redox systems, primarily for the reduction of chromic acid and the oxidation of cyanide.
2.Water Disinfection and Applications: The ORP can measure the disinfection effectiveness of swimming pool water, mineral water, and tap water.Because the bactericidal efficiency of E.coli in water is related to the ORP, the ORP is a reliable indicator of water quality.
