In earthquake disaster rescue sites, the destructive power of the main earthquake is often just the beginning. In the hours to days following most main earthquakes, aftershocks of varying intensities usually occur. Although strong aftershocks are less energetic than the main earthquake, they can deliver a "fatal blow" to already damaged structures such as buildings and bridges, leading to secondary collapses and posing significant safety risks to fire rescue personnel conducting search and rescue operations and trapped people. How to accurately capture aftershock signals and provide early warning of strong aftershock threats has become a key aspect of post-earthquake rescue work. The Earthquake Aftershock Monitoring FT-YZ2 was developed in response to this demand.

The complete FT-YZ2 system consists of a control terminal (host), Earthquake Aftershock Monitors (inclination monitors), and an audible and visual alarm. Serving as the core hub, the host is equipped with a ≥8-inch full-color LCD screen (with a resolution of ≥320*480), supports both key and touch control, and features video recording and storage functions. It can display in real-time the battery level, vibration values, connection status, and alarm status of each monitor, and also present location information via Beidou positioning.

The Earthquake Aftershock Monitor demonstrates high-precision performance. It supports 360° three-dimensional monitoring, can display X, Y, and Z three-axis data, with a resolution of 0.01° and a measurement accuracy of ≤0.1°. Wireless transmission is adopted between devices, with a communication distance of ≥600 meters in open areas and a maximum monitoring distance of the monitor of ≥100 meters. The host's one-click search function enables reverse positioning of the monitor, improving deployment efficiency.

The alarm system ensures early warning timeliness and flexibility. When the monitoring value deviates from the set value, an automatic audible and visual alarm is triggered. The system is equipped with ≥8 LED flashlights and has an acoustic intensity of ≥110dB, which can be manually deactivated. The alarm threshold supports 7 fixed levels and continuous adjustment from 0.1° to 60°, and the host and monitors are linked to form an all-round early warning network.

The equipment is adaptable to the complex post-earthquake environment. It can work continuously for ≥12 hours, with an IP67 protection rating. It operates stably within a temperature range of -25℃ to 60℃ and can be stored at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 70℃, ensuring reliable performance even under harsh conditions.
