Water quality buoy monitoring stations are unmanned monitoring units that integrate data acquisition, storage, transmission, and management. Designed for deployment in various surface water bodies—such as rivers, lakes, reservoirs, coastal waters, and aquaculture zones—these stations perform in-situ monitoring and support the expansion of multiple water quality parameters. Leveraging cloud platforms for real-time data transmission and analysis, they meet the management and control needs of diverse aquatic environments.
Moving beyond traditional manual sampling and fixed-station monitoring, these stations utilize an integrated buoy structure to conduct automated, real-time, in-situ monitoring, serving as core equipment for routine water environment management. The SFA03 model features a robust design comprising six key modules: water quality sensors, a data logger, a communication system, a power supply system, a structural frame, and a monitoring platform. It accurately monitors core indicators such as water temperature, pH, and conductivity, while allowing for the addition of parameters like dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, turbidity, and COD based on specific site requirements, thereby comprehensively addressing water quality testing needs across different water bodies.
Equipped with a high-performance data logger, the station features real-time clock calibration, scheduled data storage, customizable parameter settings, and 4G wireless communication. It automatically collects water data around the clock and handles the entire data processing workflow without human intervention. The accompanying software suite offers comprehensive functionality, enabling remote viewing of real-time water and rainfall data, as well as features such as professional database management, reporting, and data downloading. Meteorological analysis software allows for in-depth processing and professional analysis of stored data, providing precise information to support water quality assessment and aquatic environment remediation.
The station features a highly integrated design that ensures simple and convenient installation; it requires no dedicated equipment rooms or complex piping. Paired with complimentary cloud services, the system can be rapidly deployed and put into operation. The equipment operates unattended, with remote monitoring capabilities for troubleshooting, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs. Utilizing sensors with standardized communication protocols, the system is compatible with existing monitoring equipment, offers flexible parameter expansion, and adapts to upgrade requirements across various monitoring scenarios. Equipped with a low-power operating mode and a stable power supply system, the device ensures long-term, continuous, and reliable operation. Monitoring data is synchronized to a cloud platform in real time, effectively enhancing the efficiency of data feedback and management responses regarding the aquatic environment. It is widely used in sectors such as industrial and agricultural production, urban environmental monitoring, flood control dispatch, reservoir water level management, and aquaculture.
