Automatic Soil Moisture Monitors is a highly integrated, low-power automated meteorological observation device capable of monitoring parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, and conductivity. It uploads data to a cloud platform via wireless communication, supports remote data management, and is widely applied in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and scientific research.

Automatic Soil Moisture Monitors is a specialized instrument designed for the real-time, online monitoring of soil moisture content, soil temperature, and soil conductivity. The device features a highly integrated design that combines sensors, data acquisition, wireless transmission, and power supply systems into a single unit. Its compact structure allows for rapid deployment in various outdoor environments, including fields, orchards, and tea plantations. The device supports multiple transmission methods—including wired connections, GPRS, and Bluetooth—and automatically uploads monitoring data to a cloud management platform via wireless communication. Users can remotely access both real-time and historical data via a computer or mobile phone, eliminating the need to visit the site for manual data collection.

In terms of measurement accuracy, the soil moisture measurement range spans from 0 to 100, with an accuracy of ±3. The soil temperature measurement range covers -40°C to +125°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. The soil conductivity measurement range is selectable up to 20,000 µS/cm (microsiemens per centimeter), maintaining an accuracy of ±3 within the 0 to 10,000 µS/cm range. Furthermore, users can customize the configuration to include additional meteorological sensors—such as those for soil pH, air temperature, air humidity, solar radiation, and rainfall—to achieve more comprehensive monitoring of environmental parameters based on specific operational needs.

Low-power design is one of the core strengths of this device. Equipped with a built-in high-capacity lithium battery and a solar charging system, the unit achieves energy self-sufficiency in outdoor areas where grid power is unavailable. Under typical operating conditions, its battery life is sufficient to meet the demands of long-term, unattended monitoring; with a data sampling interval of 30 minutes, the device can operate continuously for at least 30 days. The device's static power consumption is maintained at the microampere level, effectively extending its operational duration in the field and reducing the frequency of manual maintenance.

From an application perspective, the device offers extensive adaptability. The system design supports dual-mode positioning via both BeiDou and GPS satellite networks, incorporating anti-theft and anti-displacement detection capabilities. It features a large data storage capacity, capable of caching approximately 500,000 sensor data records, which are retained even in the event of a power failure. Users can utilize the cloud platform to perform data analysis, view trend curves, export reports, and configure threshold-based alarms. The device supports remote fault diagnosis and online firmware updates, thereby reducing operation and maintenance costs. From installation to commissioning, a single individual can complete the entire deployment process within 30 minutes, requiring no complex debugging during installation.
