Soil moisture monitor is an important technical means to achieve disaster prevention, drought resistance and water-saving irrigation in modern agriculture. They can check the real-time moisture situation and receive alarm messages by installing the cloud platform APP or logging in to the web page on Android / IOS mobile phones, computers, tablets and other devices.

Communication network: Wireless networks such as GPRS can be selected according to the network conditions of the actual environment.

Monitoring equipment: Considering the scattered distribution of soil moisture monitoring points and the characteristics of wiring, common equipment includes soil temperature and humidity sensors, PH value sensors, conductivity sensors, rain and snow sensors, illumination sensors, etc. These can obtain data such as soil water content, pH value, EC value, etc. The monitoring frequency can be set to once every 1 minute, realizing 24-hour uninterrupted monitoring.

The system has expansion capability. Corresponding sensors can be added to monitor soil temperature, conductivity, PH value, groundwater level / water quality, as well as air temperature and humidity, light intensity, wind speed and direction, rainfall and other information, so as to meet the needs of function upgrading.

The working process is as follows: The on-site remote monitoring equipment automatically collects real-time moisture data, which is remotely transmitted through GPRS wireless network. The management cloud platform automatically receives and stores the data in the database to realize all-weather monitoring.

By monitoring soil temperature, moisture and water level, rational irrigation can be realized, avoiding water waste and soil nutrient loss; Monitoring nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, dissolved oxygen, PH value, etc., can fully grasp soil nutrients, guide rational fertilization, improve yield and reduce environmental problems.

Soil moisture monitoring data is an important basis for service decision-making and production guidance. It provides a foundation for drought grade division, calculation of effective utilization coefficient of irrigation water, etc., helps put forward agricultural measures such as timely sowing and drought-resistant irrigation, and is of great significance to improve irrigation efficiency.
