Moisture Monitoring System simultaneously measures soil profile temperature, humidity, and electrical conductivity. The monitoring depth can be customized to less than 1 meter, and it is widely used in agricultural engineering fields such as smart greenhouses, smart orchards, and smart irrigation.

Moisture Monitoring System is an online monitoring device integrating soil temperature, humidity, and electrical conductivity measurement. Its most significant feature is its tubular sensor structure, which allows for the simultaneous measurement of six key parameters at different depths within a soil profile. The monitoring depth can be customized to less than 1 meter according to actual needs. This device is mainly used in agricultural engineering fields such as smart greenhouses, smart orchards, and smart irrigation, providing fundamental data support for precision agriculture.

From a technical perspective, Moisture Monitoring System establishes a mathematical model by measuring the soil dielectric constant and collects soil volumetric moisture content data using spiral measuring electrodes. In terms of parameter measurement, the soil temperature measurement range is -30℃ to 70℃, with an accuracy of ±0.3℃; the soil moisture measurement range is 0 to 100%, with an accuracy of ±3% under loam conditions; and the soil conductivity measurement range covers 0 to 20000 μS/cm, with an accuracy of ±3% in the low-range segment. Each layer of the sensor can independently measure the above three parameters. The casing is made of imported PC material, has an IP67 waterproof rating, and consumes only 0.26W, making it suitable for long-term unmanned monitoring scenarios in the field.

In practical applications, Moisture Monitoring System transmits data via the 485 Modbus RTU protocol and, in conjunction with a solar power system (8W solar panel and 5000mAh lithium battery), achieves all-weather operation. Taking wheat cultivation as an example, the device can monitor soil moisture data in real time for key root layers such as 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm. When the surface soil moisture content is lower than the crop growth threshold, the platform automatically sends irrigation reminders to farmers, allowing them to determine the amount and timing of irrigation and avoid wasting water resources through indiscriminate irrigation. The equipment installation requires drilling. A soil-boring drill is pressed vertically downwards to drill a hole. After removing impurities, mud is prepared and filled into the hole. The sensor is then slowly lowered and rotated to ensure complete mud filling and to ensure there are no air gaps between the sensor and the soil.

Moisture Monitoring System provides fundamental data support for water-saving irrigation and water and fertilizer management in smart agriculture through a combination of multi-layer synchronous monitoring, low-power design, and wireless data transmission. When selecting this type of equipment, users should pay attention to the sensor's measurement accuracy, protection level, and compatibility with existing agricultural management platforms to ensure that the monitoring data can effectively guide field production decisions.
